The Heavy Vehicle Access Management System (HVAMS) represents a contemporary approach to heavy vehicle access on the Queensland and Tasmanian Road Networks. HVAMS for the Australian Defence Force is a collaboration between the Tasmanian Department of State Growth, Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads, respective local road managers and the Australian Defence Force (ADF).

A National Heavy Vehicle Regulator permit grants access to networks for ADF vehicles generated by HVAMS.
